Sundernager  The place as a whole is quite peaceful.There are lot of scenic beauties to see like sunset across the lake,valley view from the road going to Keran etc. There are two open big grounds in the colony where a lot of children play, people usually go for a walk in the evenings and mornings,usually on the roads towards nearby villages like Chambi and Keran.But there is a project of Cement factory which has been initiated by the government in Keran. 10/05/2011 At present the government has given stay order for the factory project and it will take next 5 year's to take further step in installation of factory. But the stone to be used in factory for cement making will still be going from Keran


Sarkaghat dharmpurSarkaghat is a town, a nagar panchayat and Tehsil in Mandi district in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh.Sarkaghat is one of the 5 Urban Local Bodies in Mandi District.The state of Himachal Pradesh is divided into 12 Districts and Mandi is one of the Distirct with its headquarters at Mandi. The Sarkaghat town is located about 60 km away from Distt. Headquarter Mandi. Sarkaghat town is a main business centre of the Mandi District and it covers most of the population of the district.
The Sarkaghat Urban Local Body came into existence during the year 1981. The Nagar Panchayat Sarkaghat has 7 wards. A new ward Dabrog also including in Nagar Panchayat Sarkaghat recently. The present population of this town is about 6000 and the floating population is about 1 Lacs per month.This town is rapidly growing and is the main business centre for the Gram Panchayat falling in the radius of 25 km. A big Government Hospital & PPR Memorial Hospital is the only private hospital located at Sarkaghat  
Rewalsar LakeRewalsar Lake, or Tso Pema Lotus Lake, is a mid-altitude lake located on a mountain spur in Mandi district, 22.5 km south-west from Mandi. Its elevation is about 1,360 m above sea level.
The lake is shaped like a square with the shoreline of about 735 m. It is held as a sacred spot for Hindus
, Sikhs and Buddhists alike. With water, woodland and high hills, it presents a variety of natural beauty.
There are three Buddhist monasteries at Rewalsar. The lake also has three Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Krishna, Lord Shiva and to the sage Lomas. Another holy lake,Kunt Bhyog which is about 1,750 m above sea level lies above Rewalsar. It is associated with the escape of 'Pandavas' from the burning palace of wax—an episode from the epic Mahabharata..

KarsogKarsog is famous for its temples, including the Mamleshwar Mahadev, Kamksha Devi and Mahunag temples. It is full of scenic beauty and abundance of apple orchards. The natural surroundings are regarded as beautiful, with green forests and a pollution-free environment.

 Jogindar Nagar Jogindar Nagar ([dʒoːˈɡɪnd̪ər nəˈɡər]) is a hill station and a nagar panchayat in Mandi district in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Named after Raja Joginder Sen, Joginder Nagar is terminal point of 163 km long Kangra Valley Narrow gauge railhead. Joginder Nagar is the only town in Asia to have 3 hydro-electric power stations, and hence it is popularly known as The City of Powerhouses. The town packs good options for sightseeing, picnicking, angling and adventure sports like paragliding and trekking. The town is known for three T's namely Trolley, Trout and Train.Joginder Nagar is also the first free Wi-Fi city of Himachal Pradesh

BarotBarot is a picnic spot and tourist location in Mandi district in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It is situated 40 km from Jogindernagar and 66 km from Mandi, the district headquarters. The road to Barot branches off at Jogindernagar-Mandi high ways and from Jogindernagar the distance is 40 km. It is sometimes possible to use the trolley from Jogindernagar which reduces the distance to 12 km. The route includes terraced fields and thick cedar forests, rising to Jhatingri at the hilltop. The remains of the summer palace of the former rulers of Mandi are located here.Through the little village of Tikkan, the road carries on to Barot. The town has a range of outdoor activities, including a trout breeding centre from where fish are released into the Uhl. A 30 km section of the river is used for angling.

Prashar Lake
Prashar Lake lies 49 km north of Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, India, with a three storied pagoda-like temple dedicated to the sage Prashar. The lake is located at a height of 2730 m above sea level. With deep blue waters, the lake is held sacred to the sage Prashar and he is regarded to have meditated there. Surrounded by snow-capped peaks and looking down on the fast flowing river Beas, the lake can be approached via Drang.
The temple was built in the thirteenth century and legend has it was built by a baby from a single tree. The lake has a floating island in it and it is said to be unclear how deep it is, with a diver not being able to determine its depth.

Janjehli Janjehli is a paradise for hikers, offering treks up to a height of 3,300 metres. All the road is motorable and fun to ride. The road is connected to Karsog which remains open all seasons except some weeks of winter. It takes about 3 hours to reach here from Mandi via Baggi, Chail Chowk and Thunag (Tehsil Headquarters). In the midst of thick forest, forests (15 km from Gohar) is Bajahi. There is a beautiful and well-furnished rest house to stay overnight. From here Janjehli is a scant 20 km away through bridle path. Chindi and Karsog are nice places for meditation. Janlehli is popular for adventure activities like-trekking, night safari, mountneering, skiing etc. At the distance of 10 km from janjehli is the Shikari Mata temple

Shikari Devi Shikari Devi temple is near to Karsog Valley in the Himalayas in Distt mandi Of  Himachal Pradesh with beautiful view of pine, deodar woods and apple orchards.The Shikari Devi Temple is positioned at a height of 2850 meters above sea level in the state of Himachal Pradesh. It is extremely difficult to trek up to the Shikari Devi Temple from Janjheli,Bagsaid,Kandha or Karsog vally.You can enjoy a beautiful trip with different routes to reach upto ancient shrine of the Shikari Devi Temple located at the peak of the hill. According to old saying/legends that the hunters or Shikari in the early years once worshipped the Goddess on the mountain asking for success in their hunt. So in old days Godess was known as Devi (Godess) of Shikari (Hunter) means Shikari Devi. This old temple and Godess is believed to be in existence from the time of the Pandavas. According to the myth, there will be no snowfall on the top of Temple and snow never stay there.

 Pandoh Dam Pandoh Dam is an embankment dam on the Beas River in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh, India. Under the Beas Project, the dam was completed in 1977 and its primary purpose is hydroelectric power generation. Part of a run-of-the-river power scheme, it diverts the waters of the Beas to the southwest through a 38 km (24 mi) long system of tunnels and channels. The water is used for power generation at the Dehar Power House before being discharged into the Sutlej River, connecting both rivers. The power house has an installed capacity of 990 megawatts (1,330,000 hp)

Kamarunag
Kamarunag is one of the best destinations in Himachal Pradesh. Relatively less known Himalayan trek,Kamrunag is not even listed well in the official tourism websites of Himachal Pradesh. Like all other lakes in Himachal Pradesh, Kamarunag or Kumarwah Lake has its own legend.
