Mohan Shakti Heritage Park is an upcoming heritage park aimed at studying the Vedic Sciences and educate the younger generation about the findings of the Vedas and ancient Indian Culture. National Heritage Park is located at Shakti Sthal on NH 22 between Kalka and Shimla. One has to take diversion from Salogara to Ashwini Khud at Shakti Sthal. The park is located at the ‘Hart Village’ , 7 kilometers from the Shimla-Kalka National Highway.





Karol 

             Amidst the tall pine trees at the height of 2280 metres, atop Mount Karol in Solan lies a mystical cave popularly called as Pandava Gufa. This ancient cave dates back to the period of Mahabharata and is believed to be one of the oldest and longest (around 28km) in the Himalayan region. Legends say that the Pandavas lived and meditated in this cave during their exile period. Due to the religious aspect, a temple is constructed beside the cave which is run by a family of priest that lives nearby. The other end of the cave is believed to be at place called Pinjore. A short trek of 7km followed by dense forest regions, sprawling grasslands, small ponds and breathtaking sights of nearby ranges will lead you to this ancient cave. 



Sadhupul
                 A visit to Sadhupul River can also be combined with other tourist attractions across the city. Chail

Chail is 44 km from Shimla and 45 km from Solan. The Chail Palace is well known for its architecture, the palace was built as summer retreat by the Maharaja of Patiala during the British Raj, on the land allotted to him by the British for former's assistance in the Anglo-Nepalese War. The cricket ground and a polo ground which is there at an altitude of 2,250 m was owned by erstwhile royal family of Patiala. It is the world's highest cricket ground.
